VIDEO PRODUCTION and COMMENTS ON DRAFT
Not going to lie, I've changed so much here. Only when I came to film did I realize I missed a whole minute of storyboard and labeled one box "FILLERS". So, when it came to filming, I filmed all I could and arranged a comedic yet pop narrative and remade the storyboard afterward.

Firstly, I started with the credits, adding them before the music video starts. This created easy access into the video from the fade-out of Sony to the fade-in of the video beginning.
As I kept editing through the footage I was filming, it came to my attention that I anticipated the shots to be longer than what they should be. Coming to editing, most shots were a second or two too long to look good - they lingered past their screen time and it bothered me. This was a problem because there are specific points in the song that have perfect edits to the beat and there was often a five-second gap before that and it wasn't acceptable. This is a major point in my editing process as without it I wouldn't have a finished product. So, I had to improvise and include extra shots that weren't planned in the original storyboard - another reason as to why I had to redraw them.

After reviewing my draft video, I've decided that there are multiple things that could be better:
- the first thing is fallen frames. There are a few times that frames have dropped because of poor editing or just simply not realizing they are there. Sorting these out will result in a smoother and less blocky looking video.
- the boy character's role doesn't seem ethereal enough. If I had enough time, I would have shot the scenes he is in again with different clothes or different actions to give him a hierarchy or an "other world" feel about him. His lengthy hair is the only redeeming feature for these shots, so to make them stand out to other shots, I shall place a warming filter over them and put the other shots a little brighter to contrast with them and make them look like they are living two different worlds.
- As mentioned before, there are a few shots that feel "too long", or that the shot feels like it lasts for a while rather than the second or two than it is. I shall replace these with another shot or just simply make them shorter.
- Finally, FINISH IT. There are still a few scenes I have left to film, but Sam has been away so we will need to film them when he is back.
